About Me

I didn’t just wake up and decide to write thrillers. My career in investigative reporting and in the high-stakes international business of pulling the earth’s riches from the ground on every continent not covered in ice gave me a front-row seat to how people actually behave when they hit rock bottom. I’ve seen how people break, but more importantly, how they find the guts to stand back up. This real-life experience fuels gripping and realistic thrillers and is the backbone of every chapter I write.

In my first book, I put a mother in the middle of a wilderness nightmare. It isn’t just a survival guide; it’s a look at the terrifying strength of a parent’s love. I followed that with a story about a woman trying to fix her past by saving a child stolen for revenge. Both books are about the same thing: the fact that no matter how deep the hole is, there is always a way to climb out if you’re willing to bleed for it.

I live and write in Kemble, Ontario. I stay away from the easy, “happily-ever-after” clichés, choosing instead to stay in the tension and the dirt of the moment. When you pick up a Gregory Wilson Taylor thriller, you’re getting a story from someone who knows exactly what real-life stakes look like.
